Hosted by LMU Munich, the second annual GAME meeting was successfully held in Munich, with the participation of Deans and Principle Investigators from member universities. Members gathered to review progresses on collaborative research projects and discuss new initiatives such as the establishment of an Alliance website and exchange programmes.
A ceremony for the conferring of honorary professorships also took place and Prof Christina Mitchell, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health, was presented with the title of Clinical Professor (honorary) by CUHK.

Following the start of the PhD Exchange Program, the 1st CUHK-Monash Joint Symposium on Regenerative Biology and Tissue Engineering was hosted by the CUHK on 15 July 2018 (Sunday) at G02, Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building, Area 39, CUHK, with the participation of faculty members, research support staff, PhD students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Monash University, especially the members from the Institute for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (iTERM) and Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI).
