The CUHK-Monash PhD Student Exchange Programme was established in 2017, with the aim to provide PhD students with the opportunity to benefit from the common and complementary research strengths of both faculties. Each institution may annually nominate up to 5 PhD students to undertake a research attachment at the partner institution for a period of three to six months. It is a joint supervision programme where students are co-supervised by both institutions; with primary supervision by the home university and co-supervision by the partner university.

Monash PhD Scholarship
PhD scholarships and travel allowance
Exceptional PhD candidates will be granted RTP Stipend (formerly Australian Postgraduate Award), 2017 rate A$26,682 p.a. for three years, with a possible 6 month extension. In addition, a travel allowance of $5,000 will be provided to contribute to costs associated with the candidates travel to and from CUHK.
